Club Rules
NATIONALS, STATE TITLES AND ZONE OPENS SHALL TAKE PRIORITY OVER ANY OTHER MATCH ON THE DAY
- Provided there is an appointed Range Officer in attendance, any pistol match (for which the range is authorised) may be conducted at the Live Fire Range Complex on any day of the week between the hours of 6am to 6pm.
- Air pistol matches may be conducted at the Mittagong Air Range on any day of the week and at any time.
- Rifle matches (for which the range is authorised) have priority on Range 2 (100m) on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month.
- Ranges may be utilised for any pistol match or practice (for which the range is authorised) if, not in use for the designated Match of the Day listed on the "MATCH PROGRAMME".
- Club Championships Matches may be shot anytime during the designated month for that particular match.
- The Committee welcomes any constructive criticism or ideas to improve Range use, organisation or programming and asks that Members contact the Club Captain or Secretary with suggestions.
Daily Match Requirements
- Place RED FLAGS at the range complex entrance. There are two red flags in the clubhouse and one red flag in the gatepost.
- Appoint a Range Officer for the day's match.
- Ensure that all ranges are ready and that competitors start at the required times.
- Conduct the match of the day in the approved manner (a folder containing match details is kept in the Target Room).
- Ensure that all safety procedures are in accordance with the Club By-Laws for Range Use.
- Ensure that all competitors are suitably attired, i.e., eye and ear protection are mandatory; shoes not thongs or sandals.
- Ensure that the ranges used, the target room, the clubhouse and immediate surrounds are kept in a very tidy state and all equipment is returned to the target and compressor rooms.
- At the end of the day ensure that the clubhouse, the compressor room, the target room and gate are all locked.
